Citrus Salad

sliced oranges, grapefruits and limes


2 large oranges

1 large pink grapefruit

1 medium blood orange (option-canned)

Kosher salt


3 T Calizo Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Lemon

3 T pomegranate juice

1 T red wine vinegar

½ t honey

Splash of lemon juice to taste

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Pomegranate arils for garnish (optional)

¼ Cup toasted chopped nuts i.e. walnuts, pecans, or almonds


Peel citrus, removing as much pith as possible, slice into wheels. Remove pits, 

Layer fruit on a serving dish, sprinkle with a bit of salt 

Whisk together Calizo Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Lemon, pomegranate juice, vinegar honey, and lemon juice until well combined; taste, adjust seasoning as needed 

Drizzle over salad. Garnish as preferred
